My years of experience combined with my access to current information relating to competing and sold properties will ensure that we will place your home in the right price bracket to encourage an excited response from the buying public. Should you choose to list with me, the following is what you can expect as part of the process:


  • Help you determine the most appropriate price to list your home by using a computerized market analysis of homes comparable to yours. This analysis shows homes currently for sale, those recently sold, and those that did not sell
  • A professional photographer will take interior and exterior photos and do a video tour of your home (subject to your approval)
  • I will hire an accredited appraiser to come and measure your home so we can be certain of the size quoted. I take this extra measure as the size quoted by the City is not always correct
  • Describe your property to my RE/MAX sales colleagues on the first Monday following the listing of your home and put your home on our office open house morning tour

  • Input your listing into the Edmonton Real Estate Board MLX database which gives instant notification to the more than 3,000 realtors in the Edmonton area and their clients

  • Place a "For Sale" sign on your property (subject to your approval)

  •  Place a computerized keysafe on the front or back door, or other appropriate location, of your property

  • Offer suggestions and ideas on how to make your home as appealing as possible. I can also recommend home stagers to help prepare your home in the optimal state for viewing. Buyers first emotional reaction to your home is the most important

  • Provide a list of reliable sub-trades people who could assist you when necessary

  • Hold public open houses occasionally on Saturday or Sunday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (subject to your approval)

  • Phone you and update you with feedback from clients and realtors who have viewed your home

  • Keep you informed on market conditions and other factors that could influence your home's marketability

  •  Represent you when an offer has been made

  • Advise you on acceptance and counter-offers, and assist you in negotiating the best possible price and terms
  • After your home is sold, I will advise your lawyer to proceed with the final documents

  • Deliver keys to the new purchaser or his/her agent once your lawyer has advised me that funds have been received and that keys may be released

The MLX online marketing system allows me to make information accessible 24 hours a day, and to respond immediately and directly to each and every prospective buyer. From my website, prospective buyers can get information immediately about your home. They can access my site 24 hours a day and view your property listing. Your listing will be sent by e-mail to every prospective buyer in my database as well as all Edmonton realtors and their clients for whom your home meets their criteria.
